Logging Into Your ID Wallet

This guide will help you access your ID wallet after you've created it. Your ID wallet provides secure digital storage for your verified identity documents, allowing you to share them with trusted organisations quickly and easily.

What You'll Need

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • The email address you used to create your wallet

  • Access to either:

    • Your authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator) with your wallet set up, OR

    • Your device with passkey enabled (fingerprint, face recognition, or PIN)

  • Access to your email inbox (for secure login links)

  • A web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge recommended)

Step-by-Step Login Process

Step 1: Navigate to the Wallet Login Page

You have two options to access the login page:

Option A: Use Your Welcome Email

  1. Open the welcome email sent to you by your service provider

  2. Either:

    • Click the "Access Your ID Wallet" link in the email, OR

    • Use your mobile device's camera to scan the QR code and tap the notification

  3. This will take you directly to the login page

Option B: Navigate Directly

  1. Open your web browser

  2. Go to the wallet login page at portal.verifime.com

  3. You'll see the login screen

Step 2: Enter Your Email Address

  1. Enter the email address you used to create your wallet

  2. Click "Continue"

Step 3: Authenticate Your Identity

  1. Open your authenticator app on your mobile device

  2. Find the entry for your ID Wallet

  3. Enter the 6-digit code displayed in the app into the code field

  4. Click "Send Me A Secure Link"

  5. The next screen will show you how long the email link is valid, press continue

  6. Check your email inbox for the secure login link and click on it

  7. Hit continue on the next screen and you will be taken to your VerifiMe ID wallet

Note: The authenticator code refreshes every 30 seconds. If it expires before you enter it, simply use the new code displayed.

Method B: Using Your Passkey

  1. Click "Use Passkey" button

  2. Your device will prompt you to verify your identity using:

    • Fingerprint scan, OR

    • Face recognition, OR

    • Device PIN

  3. Follow your device's prompts to complete authentication

Step 4: Access Your ID Wallet

Once authenticated successfully, you'll see your ID wallet displaying:

  • Your verified identity documents

  • Recent sharing activity

  • Wallet settings and preferences
