Understanding Customer Invitations
What is the Customer Portal?
The Customer Portal is where your customers complete their identity verification process. When you invite customers, you're providing them with access to this secure portal where they can:
Upload their identification documents
Complete identity verification steps
Submit required information
Track their verification status
Your Unique Invite Link
Each client organization has a unique URL that links directly to your account in the VerifiMe system. When customers use your link or QR code, their verification is automatically associated with your organization, ensuring their information flows directly to you.

Test the QR code after printing to ensure it scans correctly
Instructions
Include brief instructions: "Scan this QR code to verify your identity"
Consider adding an icon indicating smartphone scanning
Provide the text link as a backup option
Quality
Use high-resolution images for professional appearance
Ensure good contrast between the QR code and background
Avoid placing the QR code on textured or patterned surfaces
Managing Customer Invitations
Tracking Invited Customers
Once customers access your invite link or scan your QR code and begin verification:
Their verification progress appears in your Management Portal dashboard
You'll receive email notifications when verifications are complete (if configured)
You can monitor the status of all customer verifications in real-time
Multiple Users Sending Invites
If multiple team members need to invite customers:
All team members with Management Portal access can use the same invite link and QR code
There's no need for individual invite links per team member
The unique link is tied to your organization, not individual users
This simplifies your process and ensures consistency across your team.
Common Questions
How long is the invite link valid?
Your unique invite link and QR code never expire. You can use them indefinitely without needing to generate new ones.
Can I customize the invite link?
The invite link is automatically generated and tied to your Client Account. It cannot be customized, but it remains consistent for all your customer invitations.
What happens after a customer clicks the link?
When a customer clicks your invite link or scans your QR code:
They're directed to the VerifiMe Customer Portal
They see your organization's name and branding
They're guided through the identity verification process
Their verification is automatically linked to your Client Account
You receive notifications when they complete the process (if configured)
What if a customer loses the link?
You can simply send the link again - it's always the same URL. Customers can also return to a partially completed verification using the same link.
