Why Have I Been Asked to Provide Supporting Documents?
Your service provider may require supporting documentation as part of their own verification and validation process before your record can be finalised.
If you are unsure why documents have been requested, please contact your service provider directly.
What Documents May Be Required?
Depending on your circumstances, you may be asked to provide one or more of the following:
Business, Company or Sole Trader Documents
Wholesale Certificate
Certificate of Title
Valuation Notice
Rates Notice
National Vendor Declaration (livestock)
Other Documents
Supporting Evidence
Statutory declarations
Source of funds or source of wealth documentation
Correspondence or other materials relevant to your verification
Your service provider will notify you of exactly which documents are needed. If you are unsure, please reach out to them directly.

How to Upload Your Supporting Documents
Step 1 – Access the VerifiMe Portal
Log in to the VerifiMe portal at portal.verifime.com using your email address and passkey or authenticator.
Step 2 – Select the Entity
Once logged in, your dashboard will display the entities associated with your account — choose the one that your service provider has requested documentation for.
Step 3 – Open Supporting Documents
Within the entity record, click the Supporting Documents button. This will take you to the supporting documents page.
Step 4 – Add a Document
On the supporting documents page, click the Add Document button to begin the upload process.
Step 5 – Select the Document Type
Select the document type that matches the file you are about to upload.
Step 5 – Choose Your File
Click "Click to Upload" or drag and drop your file into the upload area. Make sure your file is in an accepted format (PDF, JPG, or PNG) and does not exceed the maximum file size.
Tips for a successful upload:
Ensure the document is clear and fully legible
Include all pages of multi-page documents
Do not crop or obscure any part of the document
Step 6 – Submit for Verification
Once you have uploaded your documents, click Submit for Verification to send your documents to VerifiMe for review. Once reviewed, the information from your documents will be relayed to your service provider.
Repeat Steps 4–6 for each document required.
What Happens After I Upload?
Once you have submitted your documents, your service provider will be notified. Our team will review everything that has been submitted and relay the information, along with validation comments, to your service provider.
You do not need to take any further action unless your service provider contacts you requesting further information.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to verify my identity again? No. Your identity verification is already complete. This step only relates to the supporting documents that have been separately requested.
How will I know my upload was successful? After uploading, you will see the document listed on screen with a confirmation. If you do not see a confirmation, try uploading again or contact your service provider.
Can I upload more than one document? Yes. If multiple documents have been requested, repeat the upload process for each file.
What if I don't have the requested document? Contact your service provider directly. They will be able to advise whether an alternative is acceptable.
