When business documents are needed

Some service providers may require you to add business or organization information to your VerifiMe Wallet, particularly if you're:

  • A business owner or sole trader

  • A director or trustee of a company or trust

  • Applying for services on behalf of an organization

Types of business entities

Company:

  • Australian Company Number (ACN)

  • Company extract or ASIC registration documents

  • Director identification documents

Trust:

  • Trust deed or establishment documents

  • Trustee information

  • Trust identification details

Partnership:

  • Partnership agreement

  • Partner details and identification

Sole Trader:

  • Australian Business Number (ABN)

  • Business registration documents

What you'll need to provide

For business entities:

  • Legal business name

  • Business registration numbers (ABN, ACN, etc.)

  • Business address

  • Supporting documents proving the business exists and you're authorized to represent it

  • Information about other individuals associated with the business (directors, trustees, partners, beneficial owners)

How business verification works

Business verification may take longer than individual verification because:

  • Additional documents need to be reviewed

  • Business registrations must be checked

  • Other associated individuals may need to be verified

  • Manual review may be required for complex business structures
